Statedlife (real name Matt Guilbeau) is a musician/producer and has been Dj'ing for more than 20 years. He has produced numerous tracks and remixes that have been released by selektarecordings.com . His music can be found on all the major digital music download sites. With an ear for melodies, harmonies and emotive song structure and an attention to precision and detail in his mastering he utilizes any medium available in his production style, analogue, digital, vinyl sampling. He tends to keep an organic feel to his tracks by incorporating piano and strings. He is "always trying to create deepest synths and basslines he can" because, according to him "those are the elements that really keeps a great track moving". When he is selecting music to play on his weekly internet show [[Bring on the Night]] which he broadcasts 7-11 pm (mst) every Saturday night, he listens for these same qualities.
